Gordon Jago: Thirty-seven years ago yesterday: January 9, 1971 - the Gordon Jago Revolution began with a 0-0 draw at Luton:. A few days previously, Les Allen had been fired as manager, and Coach Gordon Jago had been appointed Caretaker manager....and after a few weeks, he was appointed till the end of the season. Jago of course, prior to QPR was coaching in the United States. And, after managing QPR and Millwall, he returned to the United, where he coached Tampa Bay Rowdies and Rodney Marsh. And he is still very active in the US. Jago was awarded the MBE last year. See also: Jago/Award amd a profile of Jago in the USA and a 2005 Q&A with Jago.
